About From The Front Mission Our mission is to set up a system of mobile wireless networks utilizing current standardized wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi and bi-directional satellite links to enhance morale for peacekeeping forces overseas. The network must be capable of supporting multiple simultaneous users, maintaining a reliable internet uplink throughout the Middle East, and withstanding adverse physical conditions. One of our primary goals is to enable Marines to plug their personal laptops into this network so they may enjoy the service in the comfort of their quarters, at any time, without having to wait in line.  This ability to use privately owned computers precludes the use of any military computer or network resources. Therefore, it must be privately funded and maintained.
